MEDIA GLOBO Announces Registration of Corporate Trademark
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Approves MEDIA GLOBO Service Mark
DENVER, CO - ( July 9, 2013) - The MEDIA GLOBO Corporation [OTC: MGLO] announces that effective July 9, 2013 the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO") approved registration of the "MEDIA GLOBO" corporate service mark along with publication in the USPTO Principal Registry, under Trademark Registration No. 4,364,932.
As an International Class 36 registered trademark, "first use" of the MEDIA GLOBO mark was December 26, 2006 and first use "in commerce" is registered as effective March 12, 2007. Pursuant to this registration, MEDIA GLOBO is lawfully chartered by the U.S. Department of Commerce to conduct domestic and international business as follows:
"for providing financial and investment services, namedly asset acquisition, consultation, development and management services and venture capital services, namely providing financing to emerging and start-up companies, all in the field of Internet media, in Class 36 (U.S. C.L.S. 100, 101 and 102)."
Furthermore, "the mark consists of standard characters without claim to any particular font, style, size, or color. No claim is made to the exclusive right to use "media," apart from the mark as shown. The foreign wording in the mark translates into English as "globe," as derived from the generic Spanish, Italian and Portuguese word "globo," which as used in the mark means "globe" in English."
